The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old forms part of our Double Cask range which marries the classic Macallan style and the unmistakable sweetness of American oak. This is a fully rounded single malt in perfect balance, with flavours of fudge, citrus and soft spice.
Tasting Notes
COLOUR: Harvest sun.
NOSE: Fudge with candied orange and lemon, alongside vanilla and sweet oak.
PALATE: Milk chocolate raisins and creamy toffee, balanced with orange peel and gentle spice.
FINISH: Medium with sweet oak.
56 Year Old Fine & Rare Cask #46 3M
70cl / 44.3%
A 1946 vintage Macallan, aged for 56 years (so bottled around 2002) and released as part of their Fine & Rare range of vintaged whiskies. The period immediately post-WWII is considered one of Macallan’s finest, with more smokey aromas and flavours in the barley as a result of increased peat use for distillation.
The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old, a perfectly balanced single malt whisky matured for 18 years in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Sherry seasoned American oak adds delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.
Tasting Notes
COLOUR: Amber honey.
NOSE: Dried fruit and toffee with rich candied citrus peel, ginger and nutmeg.
PALATE: Raisin, sultana and dried apricot with notes of treacle toffee, vanilla and ginger. Toasted wood spice and baked apple.
FINISH: Long with warm oak and citrus.
This particular Spey Malt Macallan was distilled in 1998 and will be bottled in 2024. It has a strength of 52.8% and was aged in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead cask, resulting in an outturn of 316 bottles.

Aroma: Fragrant vanilla with toffee and Medjool date aromas.
Taste: Flavors of raspberry, Seville orange and liquor ice.
Finish: Oak lingers on the finish.

The third release in the Harmony Collection has been created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney to celebrate the lush, fertile lands of Scotland that connect all those who have stood upon them for generations.
The McCartney sisters’ love of Scotland stems from their memories of summer days in amber fields at the family farm in the Scottish countryside.
They describe nature as both energising and serene, contrasting qualities rekindled by this collaboration. This affinity with the land inspires joyful memories of family, sisterhood and community.
The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team have taken inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands to create this distinctive expression, redolent of warm meadows and mature barley fields, with a rich, citrus scented finish, using a combination of both sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks.
This release embraces the re-use of natural materials in its packaging, creating beauty from resources at the end of their natural lives. To mark this deep connection with the land, discarded meadow cuttings have been given new life in this presentation box and bottle labels.
